Theme 2

What if you were to hear that a person you knew quite well had died unexpectedly? Would you be at peace? Or might there be unresolved issues that could give cause for regret?
Are there other relationships that require forgiveness? Richard’s story raises this issue.
Or might you realize that you’d never truly expressed your feelings for that person and they died without knowing how much you cared?
And what about your own mortality and people you will leave behind? What might you want to say before you pass on?
One story tells of a mother dying of breast cancer and the care she takes to create a memory of her in the future. Another grandfather leaves a letter for his cherished granddaughter to be given to her on her eighteenth birthday.
